Lao Bullion Bank proudly participated in the Asia Pacific Precious Metals Conference (APPMC), one of the region’s most prestigious platforms for the development and promotion of the precious metals market in Asia-Pacific. This marks a significant achievement for the bank as it took part not only as an exhibitor but also as a panelist, sharing the journey of establishing the first bullion bank in Laos.
This participation reflects the forward-thinking vision of the Government of the Lao PDR in strengthening financial stability through gold-based banking services. By aiming to standardize Laos’ gold industry, Lao Bullion Bank is pioneering a new system for gold trading and enhancing industry mechanisms that connect to global partners such as StoneX, a strategic partner of the Lao Bullion Bank and through its official membership in the Singapore Bullion Market Association (SBMA).
This global engagement is a major leap in integrating Laos into the international precious metals market. During the conference, SBMA officially announced Lao Bullion Bank’s membership on June 4, 2025, recognizing LBB as one of its 30 Foreign Associate Corporate members and the first and only member from the Lao PDR.
